the inability to calm

The inability to calm is like having a marshmallow very close to your ear. It's almost touching your ear. It tickles you but you like having it there because touching the marshmallow with your ear is not something you do everyday but if you enjoy it, you just may consider grazing the surface of a marshmallow with the part of your ear that sticks out, every night, before you go to bed (and I don't mean to say that your ear sticks out every night. I don't mean that at all). Left or right ear, doesn't matter. Whatever works for you.
