prizes and other surprises

Very often, from inside looking outside through the window, and I see people walking this way and that, and I come to think, “Nothing surprises me anymore.” I don’t expect a loud person to talk quietly. I don’t expect a rude person to be polite. I don’t expect a businessman to care about family. Commercials, crimes, affairs, are nothing new. Nothing surprises me nowadays. There is a reason for each happening, and each one of us is entitled to make our own choices. I respect their choices because at the moment of decision, the choice they make, in their own rationale, is correct.
